Instant Aerial uses a radio-controlled helicopter approximately 5 feet long powered by a 23cc gas motor to carry a high resolution Sony digital camera. It takes two people to operate it. One pilots the helicopter and the other has control of the camera. The camera is set up with a video downlink which transmits a live picture from the camera in the air down to a video monitor in our mobile ground station. One operator hovers the helicopter while the other watches TV! The camera operator can pan and tilt the camera to frame the subject and shoot the pictures.

Once the shooting is done, the helicopter is landed and we review the pictures taken. Usually one flight is all it takes, but sometimes we make a second flight to get some more shots. After we're satisfied with the shoot we transfer the images directly from the camera to a laptop computer. We can then burn the images to a CD RIGHT ON THE SPOT! Done! The customer now owns digital images they can print over and over on thier own computer or take to thier favorite photo lab for printing. If you're really in a hurry to get some prints, we can print up to 8x10 photos on the spot too!

Instant Aerial takes every precaution to operate as safely as possible. All job sites are subject to a saftey review before we fly. Operation of the helicam requires a place somewhere near the subject where we can safely take-off and land.
